Doha: A number of multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects post-World Cup will take centre stage at the Project Qatar which will run concurrently with the Hospitality Qatar from June 6-9 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, officials announced at a press conference yesterday.
Billed as ‘One Show, Multiple Opportunities’ event, both Project Qatar and Hospitality Qatar expect to receive over 20,000 visitors, with the participation of more than 300 exhibiting companies distributed among 180 international firms from 30 different countries.
The event will also feature seven official national pavilions, along with 120 Qatari companies from major government and semi-government agencies, as well as the most prominent private sector companies.
While the Public Works Authority (Ashgal), a strategic partner of the event, will highlight its role and contributions over the past years in preparing the necessary infrastructure for hosting the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar…
