Doha, Qatar: Qatar Tourism and Katara Hospitality jointly hosted an honorary Suhoor at the Sheraton Grand Doha Hotel to celebrate Gerhard Foltin, a pioneering figure in Qatar’s hospitality industry who first arrived at Doha in 1977 to manage the iconic Doha Club.
In 1982, Foltin became the founding General Manager of the Sheraton Grand Doha, where he played a key role in its planning and design. With a career spanning over five decades, his visionary leadership has left a lasting impact on the growth and evolution of Qatar’s hospitality landscape.
