Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, has announced that the number of foreign visitors to the country increased from 2.4 million in January to 2.5 million in February. Al-Khateeb revealed that the Ministry of Tourism has invested SR400 million ($106.48 million) in training over 100,000 young Saudi men and women to support the growth of the tourism sector. He emphasized the importance of industry players adhering to the new regulations set by the ministry and warned that violators would face penalties, particularly those who violate regulations pertaining to tourist guides. The Kingdom is committed to enhancing the visitor experience and ensuring their safety during their travels to Saudi Arabia.
