Saudi Tourism Authority’s CEO Fahd Hamidaddin met with China’s Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism, Rao Quan, to discuss boosting collaboration in the tourism sector. They agreed on a Memorandum of Understanding to attract more than four million Chinese tourists by 2030, and also discussed several joint tourism initiatives to improve human capacities in the sector. The meeting followed a promotional tour by the Saudi Tourism Authority in China, which included Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The authority is working to develop, promote and distribute products with private sector partners and participates in tourism events, exhibitions and trade shows globally.
