The Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) is back this year in its original form and to celebrate its return, a new SCSM logo was unveiled.
The new logo is fronted by two of Singapore’s most famous icons, the Merlion and the Orchid. The Merlion is to signify the event’s positioning as a city race while the Orchid, known to symbolise hardiness and resilience, is to represent the Singapore spirit. The logo will be displayed in all key branding materials, including race singlets, marketing collaterals and event signages.
This year’s run will include the Half Marathon 21.1km and Marathon 42.195km categories to cater for more runners. Participants will be able to take part in the Double Up Challenge, allowing runners to take part in two races. Runners can either register for the 5km or 10km category as well as the Half Marathon 21.1km or Marathon 42.195km.
