Tourists heading to Turkey this year have been cautioned about the latest passport rules.
Written on the Foreign Office, the government website has listed a series of rules that UK holidaymakers must adhere to in order to go on holiday. If you don’t, you could be turned down at airport security.
Under their ‘Entry requirements‘ section, they caution that there are a few things you need to check before flying to ensure you can enjoy your holiday stress-free.
So what are the passport rules for Turkey?
They say that if you are visiting Turkey, your passport must:
- be valid for at least 150 days from the date you arrive
- have a full blank page for entry and exit stamps
They add that if you’re a resident in Turkey, your passport must be valid for six months from the date you arrive.
