Holidaymakers are being warned of travel chaos in Dubai as extreme weather hits the travel hotspot. Heavy downpours have been drenching the United Arab Emirates, with the most rain it has recorded in 75 years.
The record rainfall has flooded Dubai International Airport – the second busiest in the world. Tourists are even being warned not to head to the airport ‘unless absolutely necessary’.
As reported by Birmingham Live, the UK Foreign Office is now warning Brits to be aware of the ‘severe disruption’ in Dubai. In an update yesterday (Wednesday, April 17), the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said: “Airports in the UAE, including Dubai, are facing severe disruption following extreme weather.
