The Gulf Countries Cooperation are seeking visa-free travel to Europe and exemption from Schengen border rules. This was revealed by the GCC Secretary General GCC Jasem Albudaiwi, in a report by the Arabian Business. If it comes to fruition, citizens of countries like the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia will be able to travel to Europe visa-free.
GCC Nations To Seek Visa-Free Travel To Europe
According to the report, GCC nations are applying for Visa-free travel to Europe and exemption from Schengen border rules. If this becomes successful, the citizens of these nations will be able to visit the European countries without a Schengen visa. This will include access to 27 European countries like Germany, Spain, France, and Italy. Seeking a Schengen visa waiver, the GCC Secretary General was seen stating that these countries deserve an exemption.
