A United Airlines plane dropped debris across Colorado on Saturday during an emergency landing following engine failure.
One unconfirmed social media account reported a “loud boom” from an overhead plane before metal started “raining down”.
The United Airlines Flight UA 328A flight was bound for Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu but suffered a right engine failure after departing Denver International Airport, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement.
