A Timaru golf club is hosting many of New Zealand’s top amateur women’s players as it hosts the country’s interprovincial team tournament for the first time from Monday.
The national tournament, to be played at the Timaru Golf Club, has 11 provinces entered in the modified round-robin format over five days.
Tournament director Dave Mangan said the club’s course at Levels is great and “will provide the ladies with a really good challenge”.
