Startup hiring activity in India has risen by 19% YoY, despite a 6% decline in e-recruitment for white-collar jobs, according to a report by foundit. Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi were the cities where the maximum demand for professional emerged, with startups exhibiting a high level of resilience in hiring intent despite job market challenges. The banking, finance, services and insurance sector saw a 3% boost month-on-month and a 4% decline YoY, the retail sector saw a positive movement of 22%, and the business process outsourcing sector saw a 13% decrease.
