Atlys founder Mohak Nahta introduces Skylane to digitise government visa processing

Mohak Nahta, founder of e-visa startup Atlys, has introduced a business-to-government (B2G) solution that digitises and automates backend systems to help governments expedite visa processing. The solution, named Skylane, reduces the standard five-to-seven-day waiting period for visa approvals that travellers have come to expect by addressing inefficiencies in traditional workflows and replacing manual approval processes with data-driven systems, according to founder Mohak Nahta.

Several governments are already piloting the solution, although Nahta did not disclose specific details.

Explaining the platform’s functionality, Nahta said that when a visa application is submitted, Skylane generates a structured risk profile, akin to a credit score for travel. This profile consolidates verified identities, authenticated documents, and potential flags, offering consular officers a clear, data-backed assessment.
