Lotte Card Co. announced on Monday that it has signed a business agreement with HTS, the operator of the global travel app Hopper, at its headquarters in Seoul.
HTS is a travel platform company that uses data to help travelers book flights, hotels, and rental cars at more affordable prices.
Under the partnership, the two companies plan to launch a new travel platform via the DIGI LOCA app by 2025. This platform will enable users to book flights, hotels, and rental cars with enhanced convenience and cost savings.
The collaboration will also include the introduction of a co-branded card offering various benefits to platform users. The new travel platform will integrate HTS’s machine learning-based fintech services, including price prediction, travel change and cancellation options, and price freeze services.
HTS said the partnership between HTS and Lotte Card is expected to contribute to the creation of advanced, personalized travel services for millions of cardholders.
Lotte Card said it will introduce a digital platform that offers the best travel experience to local consumers.
