The AI-based chatbot ChatGPT has added initial support for users or plugins, including the ability to make restaurant recommendations, recipe suggestions, ingredient choices and calorie counts, according to Greg Brockman, president and CTO of OpenAI, which developed the technology. The company has access to data from 50,000 restaurants through OpenTable, with users able to book reservations with the platform. The chatbot can also help people compile and debug code or learn programming languages, while students from schools and universities can use it to aid their homework assignments.
