Two AI chat agents, ChatGPT and Google Bard, were tested by Skift to see if they could navigate travel industry buzzwords and put them into context and rhyme. Skift asked both AI agents to write lyrics for a new song about travel industry buzzwords such as local, REVPAR, experiences, NDC, duty of care, AI, transformative travel, regenerative travel, overtourism, bleisure, and revenge travel. ChatGPT produced playful lyrics with rhymes that put the buzzwords in context, while Bard was more literal and did not rhyme at all. ChatGPT was deemed the winner of the test.
