Greece has been ranked fourth on a list of the world’s top 25 destinations to travel to, according to ChatGPT’s artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. The new technology has been dubbed a game-changer for the travel industry and is set to change the way people travel. While there are some concerns around the lack of updated information, the experiment conducted by German wellness travel group Fit Reisen found Greece and Spain to be the fourth most suitable countries for holidays after Italy and Japan, France and Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. ChatGPT considers criteria such as attractions, activities, accommodation, local cuisine, general safety, and weather to rank destinations. Other countries in the top 25 include the USA, Germany, Holland and Portugal, Austria, Thailand, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Croatia and Malaysia, Hungary, Macau and Mexico, Turkey, China, Poland, Russia and India. Euronews Travel also used ChatGPT to plan a dream holiday in Europe, which included Greece as the final destination.
