Airfare marketplace Mystifly has raised $8m in a Pre-Series B funding round, led by CSVP and also including participation from RSI Fund I LLC, Jenfi and Crusade Partners among others. The investment will be used to support growth and expansion, with founder Rajeev Kumar stating that the funding will be used to expand the firm’s data and tech capabilities. The platform enables travel intermediaries to access airfares through its interface-driven technology and also provides airlines with a distribution, payment reconciliation and settlement platform. Mystifly was founded in Bangalore in 2009 but is now headquartered in Singapore with a workforce of over 250 people. Among the company’s global customers are American Express, Priceline and MakeMyTrip, with many more also included.
