Singapore-based startup Jenfi has raised $6.6 million in pre-Series B funding to expand its revenue-based financing platform for online businesses. Jenfi provides non-dilutive capital to companies, including e-commerce sellers and consumer tech providers, to fund their growth expenses. It uses a proprietary risk assessment engine that integrates data from various sources to continuously monitor borrowers’ business activity, enabling more comprehensive assessments of creditworthiness and tailored financing solutions. The new funding will be used to grow its customer base in Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and expand into new markets in Southeast Asia. The company also plans to refine its credit underwriting capabilities and develop a tech platform for third-party use. Jenfi offers flexible repayment plans based on a percentage of revenue and transparent and competitive rates. Investors in the funding round included Headline Asia and Monk’s Hill Ventures.
