I. INTRODUCTION
According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA),
the aviation sector produces approximately 900 million tonnes of
carbon dioxide (CO2) gas every year. At this rate, if immediate
actions are not taken to combat this rise, it will result in
emissions of more than 1.8 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide every
year. Switching to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), as against the
conventional jet fuels, is one of the key solutions to combat this
problem.
