The mayor said she was not fazed by polls showing she trails opponent Denis Coderre by 12 points. A Léger poll in May for Le Journal de Montréal gave Coderre 46 per cent in terms of voting intentions, compared to 34 per cent for Plante.
Nineteen per cent of respondents favoured a third candidate.

Plante said she is proud of her record on issues like public transit and is eager to push through more measures to improve Montrealers’ quality of life in a second mandate.
