Philippine Coast Guard Rescues 15 Fishermen from Capsized Vessel Off Aurora Coast
Fifteen fishermen were successfully rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) after their vessel capsized off the coast of Aurora province. The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 17.
The fishing vessel, identified as FBCA Kim Nichole, encountered rough seas and strong winds approximately 20 nautical miles east of Dingalan town. The distress call was received by the PCG Sub-Station Dingalan.
Upon receiving the report, the PCG immediately dispatched a patrol boat to the area to conduct search and rescue operations. The swift response from the Coast Guard crew led to the safe recovery of all 15 fishermen.
The fishermen were reportedly in good physical condition upon their rescue. They were brought back to shore and received immediate medical attention and support.
