Indonesia and Japan sign tourism cooperation agreement
According to TTG Asia, Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana and Japan’s Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Yasushi Kaneko signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on tourism in Tokyo, marking the first formal bilateral framework between the two nations. The agreement, following two years of negotiations, targets sectors including business events, wellness tourism, gastronomy, and sustainable tourism development.
