MakeMyTrip Accused of Anti-Competitive Behavior
According to a peer-reviewed paper, activist research firm Morpheus Research has uncovered what it claims are “abusive and anti-competitive practices” at India’s largest online travel agency, MakeMyTrip. The investigation, involving interviews with 103 industry experts, including former MakeMyTrip employees, also revealed evidence of an undisclosed regulatory probe by the Competition Commission of India (CCI), with findings expected in early 2026. MakeMyTrip is accused of downplaying significant competitive threats.
