HART COUNTY, Ky. – Hart County tourism is creating a unique way for residents to learn a little more about some local businesses.
They’ve introduced a new digital map to spotlight Amish businesses in the community.
Last week, the map was released, showcasing the more than 100 Amish-owned businesses throughout Hart County.
There’s also a physical brochure that shows 20 popular Amish-related places, including bakeries, lodging, attractions and more.
This map is not just a way to figure out where businesses are located in the community… It also helps potential customers learn what each of them have to offer.
“This way, it also explains what kind of businesses there are. Sometimes you can’t tell what a business has by the name and the descriptions we give help people decide whether it’s the kind of business that they’re looking for,” Sandra Wilson, Executive Director of Hart County tourism says.
