Havana, April 26 (RHC)– The Secretary General of UN tourism, Zurab Polilikashvili, arrived in Cuba this Friday to attend important events of the travel industry organized in the island.
In its Facebook account, the Cuban Ministry of tourism (Mintur) informs that Polilikashvili visits this island to attend the 69th Meeting of the UN tourism Regional Commission for the Americas, and was received by the head of the sector in Cuba, Juan Carlos García.
This meeting will take place in Varadero, as a preliminary step to the holding of the 42nd International tourism Fair (FITCuba 2024) scheduled for May 1 to 5 in Jardines del Rey.
