Agents and operators with clients travelling to Yellowstone National Park have been urged to closely monitor official communication channels in light of heavy flooding last week.
Currently all park entrances and roads, as well as the Yellowstone back country, are closed due to “extremely” hazardous conditions.
Operators and agents with client trips scheduled in the coming weeks have been advised to check for updates and stay informed.
Lisa Cooper, travel trade director for the Great American West region, said it is likely the northern part of the park will be closed “for some time”, according to the National Park Service.
