Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has announced the launch of a revitalised and strengthened multi-level tourism push to attract residents of the UAE and other Gulf countries to choose Uganda as their preferred destination for luxury adventure and reconnection programmes with nature.
This was unveiled at the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights during the Uganda Tourism Trade and Investment Forum 2021 on October 5. The announcement was made in conjunction with Uganda’s participation at Expo 2020, and the launch of inaugural direct flights by Uganda Airlines to Dubai.
Speaking at the forum and heading a delegation of 15 officials and key professionals from the Ugandan tourism industry, UTB CEO Lilly Ajarova said: “We are excited to launch our revitalised international travel programme targeting the UAE and GCC specifically.
