Brazil sees record high in international tourism revenues in February

February 2025 saw yet another record for tourism in Brazil, with the injection of $823 million brought by international travelers into the economy. The amount is up 22.2 percent from the same month last year. In February, over 1.3 million international visitors disembarked at Brazilian destinations.

The data were gathered by the Ministry of Tourism, along with the Brazilian International Tourism Promotion Agency (Embratur) and the Federal Police, based on figures released by the Central Bank last week.
