This year is already on track to being a record breaking one for Brazil tourism.
It has been marking monthly records for international tourism so far representing a total of 3,739,649 international visitors in the first quarter.
This accelerated pace of growth is 47.8% up compared to the same period last year.
In March alone, it welcomed 929,096 international tourists, up 25.5% according to data from the Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with Embratur and the Federal Police.
