into record-breaking territory in 2024, led by a double-digit increase in
international visitors, including nearly 700,000 travelers from the United
States, government officials said this week.
Brazil hosted 6,657,377 international
travelers in 2024, a 12.6 percent year-over year increase over 2023, according to
combined data from the country’s Ministry of Tourism, the national tourism agency
(Embratur), and Brazil’s Federal Police.
