JetSMART announced today a new direct flight from Rio de Janeiro to Mendoza, Argentina. Sales for the new route begin today (6) with operations beginning on May 9.
The new route will operate twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, departing from Rio de Janeiro’s Galeão Airport (GIG) at 13:20 p.m. and arriving at Mendoza’s El Plumerillo International Airport (MDZ) at 17:47 p.m. The company expects more than 60 passengers to fly this new flight during its first year of operations.
This is JetSMART’s fourth direct flight from Rio de Janeiro. In addition to Mendoza, travelers from Rio de Janeiro can also fly directly to Santiago, Chile, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Montevideo, Uruguay.
