Routes Americas, which brings together decision makers from airlines, airports and destinations to define the region’s air route networks, is heading to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 3-5 March in 2026.
As the 2025 edition of the event drew to a close, the Nassau & Paradise Island Promotion Board in partnership with Nassau Airport Development Company, and The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments & Aviation, handed over the hosting responsibilities of the event to RIOgaleão Airport, Rio de Janeiro City Hall, Invest Rio, and Visit Rio.
According to a study conducted by the World Travel and Tourism Council, travel and tourism in Brazil is expected to contribute $194.6 billion to the country’s GDP in 2034.
