The Daish’s Hotel, located on Shanklin High Street, has been recognised with a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for consistently delivering positive experiences.
The hotel building has been welcoming guests for hundreds of years after previously being used as an 18th-century coaching inn.
Part of the UK-based family-owned coach holiday provider Daish’s Holidays, Shanklin was the company’s first hotel and remains its flagship after extensive refurbishment completed in 2015.
Inside, visitors can find 72 bedrooms, a bar and dancefloor, a coffee shop and a guest lounge.
Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays, said: “This award is a testament to the commitment and dedication of our team, who strive to ensure each guest receives the best possible service and experience to ensure a memorable stay with us.
