In March, a Canadian photographer and disability activist complained of “argumentative” staff who refused to store her wheelchair in the plane closet. In December, Air Canada damaged her wheelchair “beyond repair” by dropping it 20 feet onto the tarmac. Others have demanded answers about missing luggage or simply want to get through to customer service. Air Canada is not alone in facing social media ire: other airlines have also borne the brunt of furious customer criticism.
