Air India Express has started its ‘Time to Travel’ offer that allows travellers to book air tickets starting at just 1,177. The offer is valid from May 29 until June 3 and Travellers can avail it on the tickets booked for travel up to September 30, 2024. The tickets are available through Air India Express’ website, app, and other booking platforms.

What Is Air India’s ‘Time To Travel’ Offer

Travel agents can book the tickets starting from 1,198 and individuals booking directly on airindiaexpress.com can book it at lower Xpress Lite fares from 1,177.

According to the CNBC TV18 report, the exclusive rates are reserved for passengers travelling with cabin baggage only. Travelers can pre-book an extra 3 kg of cabin baggage without any charge and also avail of discounted rates for check-in baggage, starting at 1000 for domestic flights and 1,300 on international routes.

Air India On Flight Delay

An airline official had said the Boeing 777 plane, which was scheduled to take off at 1600 hours, was first delayed due to a technical glitch, then some passengers deboarded and subsequently, another passenger fell ill.

After deboarding the passenger who started feeling unwell around 1917 hours, it was noticed that by the time the flight would have reached San Francisco, there would be night-landing restrictions and also, the crew would have crossed the flight-duty limitations, the official had said on Friday.

The airline had provided hotel accommodation, complimentary rescheduling and full refunds to the passengers on Friday.
