TrueBlue, the loyalty program of JetBlue, is one of the simpler options to use. And while simplicity is a clear advantage, it often comes at the cost of potential value because the points price is tied to the cash cost of the ticket. These new routes, however, seem to be an exception. In fact, economy-class tickets can be found for as low as 42,800 miles round trip.
Pro Tip
When booking European flights with TrueBlue points, look at booking an entire week to get the lowest pricing.
Not many airlines offer economy-class flights to Europe for under 30,000 miles, so this is a decent deal. That being said, airlines like Iberia and Virgin Atlantic fly to Europe for under 20,000 miles, and the taxes and fees are roughly the same—and sometimes better, so compare prices if you have points in other programs.
Remember with JetBlue you will have to book a separate flight to get to JFK or BOS if those are not your original gateway cities, which may make other options cheaper in total.
