The inaugural flight between New York and Dubrovnik with United Airlines landed at the southernmost airport in Croatia yesterday. Dubrovnik is the only city in the whole of the country to receive direct flights from the US. And throughout the summer season United Airlines will operate four flights a week from Newark to Dubrovnik, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, until the 24th of September 2024. And this is the fourth year in a row that United has operated flights from the US to Dubrovnik.
The Ruđer Bošković Airport in Dubrovnik published a post on their Facebook account to mark the first United Airlines flight of the year – “Today we welcomed this season’s first United Airlines flight to Ruđer Bošković Airport! It is a direct line New York – Dubrovnik, and with that line Dubrovnik Airport is the only one in Croatia with a direct flight connecting! Flights take place as many as four times a week until the end of the season!”
