Flightradar24 data shows that early this morning, a United Airlines Airbus A320 departed Chicago O’Hare International Airport as flight UA265 bound for Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Shortly after takeoff, while the aircraft was still over Lake Michigan, it turned around and headed back to O’Hare, where it landed around 07:12 local time. Data shows a new flight was scheduled for later that morning but did not leave until the afternoon.
