As Northern Hemisphere airlines finalize preparations for the upcoming summer season, Vietjet is announcing more new services and increased frequencies to its Asian international network. At the same time, the airline is preparing for its second-longest national holiday, marking the Reunification Day and Labor Day holiday week by adding 86,000 seats to meet peak demand.
A hot summer for Vietjet
With travel restrictions consigned to history throughout the region, this summer should see traffic increase substantially from Northeast Asia to Southeast Asia’s holiday and beach destinations. Group and individual travel is now gaining momentum from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, and Vietjet is adding more flights to the tourist hotspot of Phu Quoc, a coastal city in southern Vietnam that is renowned for its pristine beaches and crystal clear waters.
