Raphaël Poli currently serves as the Secretary General of SNCF. His previous roles within the company include Group Strategy Director and Chairman of SNCF Réseau. He also served as Director of the General Management Office.
Jean-Pierre Farandou was appointed CEO and Chairman of the SNCF board in November 2019, and his term was scheduled to conclude in November 2024. His departure was anticipated, as he is expected to run for mayor of Limoges. A search for a permanent successor to the CEO position is now underway.
SNCF operates through five distinct business units: SNCF Voyageurs, which handles passenger transport; SNCF Réseau, responsible for managing the rail network; Rail Logistics Europe, focusing on freight operations; Keolis, a public transport operator; and Geodis, specializing in logistics.
