SOUTHLAKE, Texas – Sabre (NASDAQ:) Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), a prominent technology provider to the global travel industry, announced the appointment of Gail Mandel as the non-executive Chair of the Board. Mandel, who has been a member of Sabre’s Board since April 2020, will assume her new role effective April 24, 2024, coinciding with the company’s Annual Meeting.
Mandel’s election comes as Sean Menke prepares to retire from the Board immediately before the Annual Meeting. Menke has played a significant role at Sabre, serving as its Executive Chair of the Board and previously as President and CEO since 2016.
