NEW YORK — When deciding whether to outsource operational support or keep it in-house, boutique hotel owners must keep in mind what their goals are.
A successful operator in today’s environment has “vision, scale and track record,” said Jorgan von Stiening, president of Palisociety, a fully integrated hospitality company that acquires, programs, develops, owns and operates boutique hotels and residences across the country.
Since its inception 10 years ago, Palisociety has focused on building its own infrastructure, standard operating procedures, teams and processes before seeking a hotel management agreement.
