Users of the travel website rate more than 160 hotels in the capital, giving users reviews which can rank their stay.
The Resident Edinburgh opened on September 1 last year, and is now ranked in 8th place by TripAdvisor’s users.
It is company’s first Scottish hotel, with four in London and one already in operation in Liverpool.
The Resident at night (Image: Resident) The hotel has also reported an ‘Net Promoter Score’ – a metric used to measure guest loyalty and satisfaction – of 82, across hotel review sites and guest surveys.
The hospitality that the team proudly share with guests is a key factor to this, the hotel’s management said, with “Service” alone having an individual NPS of 91.
