BOC Aviation Limited announced that it will deliver a total of 14 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to TUI Airways under a leasing agreement. The deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2025 and 2026.
The TUI Group has a fleet of 42 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, distributed across its subsidiaries in Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Belgium. The first aircraft of this model joined the company on January 29, 2018, as part of a 2013 order for 60 units divided between the 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9.
In 2016, TUI announced the purchase of 10 additional units of the most successful model from the U.S. manufacturer, bringing the total to 70 firm aircraft orders.
