The Consulate General of India in Hong Kong has released a guidance notice for Indian citizens intending to travel to the special administrative region for stays of fewer than 14 days.
In a statement, the Indian mission announced that nationals are required to apply for online Pre-Arrival Registration (PAR).
The Indian mission stated that Indian nationals intending to visit the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) for a period not exceeding 14 days must apply for online PAR.
A successful Pre-Arrival Registration (PAR) remains valid for duration of six months and allows for multiple visits.
According to the statement, the details provided in the PAR must precisely match those recorded in the passport. Passengers are also required to carry a printed copy of the successful PAR on a white A4-sized paper.
