Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi is confident that his country will successfully host the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy and that the board was not considering moving the tournament out of the nation. This comes amid the
continuing speculation surrounding India’s participation
in the showpiece event. Naqvi revealed that he had held talks with BCCI secretary Jay Shah regarding the matter, on the sidelines of the ICC meeting that was held in Dubai last week.
“Yes we spoke for a while and it was cordial but it would be unwise to divulge details of what was discussed,” said Naqi while speaking at a press conference during the Pakistan Super League final.
