Louis Vuitton has announced a partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization and Seoul Metropolitan Government to create events and content promoting South Korea’s capital city, as part of a wider ‘Visit Korea Year 2023-2024’ tourism initiative. The announcement was made at a press conference in Seoul, where officials announced a forthcoming pre-fall Louis Vuitton runway show on the Han River’s Jamsu Bridge on 29 April. The show marks a first for the fashion house in South Korea, as well as the first time it has shown its pre-fall collection on a runway. An online travel guide for Seoul and the Han River will also be available on Louis Vuitton’s City Guide app.
