The Seoul Metropolitan Government is hosting Seoul Festa 2023, an experiential festival, from April 30 to May 7, aimed at welcoming international tourists who were unable to visit Seoul over the past three years due to the pandemic. The festival is being held to rebuild the city’s tourism industry, which has been facing challenges since COVID-19, as well as to attract international tourists and expand domestic consumer spending. The festival offers a variety of attractions including Bellygom, Korean Name Center, Seoul MBTI Trip, and tourism booths showcasing Korean culture such as K-Pop, K-Drama, K-Beauty, and K-Fashion. The city plans to expand the demand for tourism by branding Seoul as a “must-visit city” through experiences and promotion of Korean culture from content and beauty to fashion.
