Naver Cloud has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) to provide cloud technologies, Papago, and application programming interface (API) to help utilize tourism information accumulated by the organization. Naver will also provide API from Naver Map to VisitKorea, KTO’s tourism website, enabling users to search for tourist spots and directions. The two parties will work together to upgrade smart services in foreign languages for KTO, with services to be rolled out in the first half of 2021. Naver Cloud’s executive director, Kim Tae-chang, said the integration of Naver’s technologies with KTO’s data will help both local and foreign tourists.
