A Scoot plane’s left nose wheel went missing when it landed in Taipei during a scheduled stop on Monday morning. Scoot is a low-cost airline based in Singapore and a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. The plane, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, had its wheel fall off as it landed at Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport. The nose wheel helps the aircraft maneuver on the ground and maintain control during take-off and landing. No one was injured in the incident. The flight, which was scheduled to depart Taipei for Singapore, was subsequently cancelled. A recovery flight was organized to transport the remaining passengers. The arrival time at Changi Airport in Singapore was rescheduled. Scoot apologized for the inconvenience and stated that hotel accommodations and flight refunds were arranged for affected passengers. The safety of customers and crew remains the airline’s top priority.
